A punching bag workout increasesendurance and the power of your punch. The advantage of having a punching bag is that it comes close to a real human opponent. You can practice all the punch variations and combinations you've always wanted to try.
With Boxing Kit Sparring from HAMMER BOXING, you have the best equipment to start your boxing training. Tip: It's important that your boxing gloves fit snugly around your wrists to provide maximum protection. We recommend Velcro fastening after a few minutes' work. During more difficult training intervals, we recommend wrapping your wrists with additional bandages.
Set your watch for three to four minutes. This is the duration of each cycle. Start your workout with light kicks and punches on the punching bag. Imagine yourself fighting a real opponent. Keep your head covered and avoid tipping the punching bag with evasive maneuvers. Try to work with the punching bag for at least four tours (every 3-4 minutes).
The targets provide you with different training variations and number combinations. Right arm strikes 1, left punch to 3, right punch to 2. Then left and right to 2, left and right to 1, left and right to 3, and so on. You must change the combination after each round. Have fun and be creative! It's important to remember that you shouldn't simply choose targets at random, but rather you should do so consciously.
You should become accustomed to the following sequences of movement and striking techniques over time: the starting position, sidestep (escape), forward/backward movements, double coverage, evasive maneuver, left, right, straight right, left jab up, left jab to the body, left jab to the head, right, straight uppercut, straight jab to the body, straight jab to the head.
